Wow I can't believe Christmas is over. We had a great time with the kids. We really miss the family dinners. We can't wait to visit WA in 2 weeks. The kids are getting big and keeping us busy. I can't wait for everyone to meet our little boss Paisley. She is incharge of all, so she thinks. Big personality for a little girl. Gunner is always trying new things and wants to be like Jason. He has no fears.

Well it's been along time. Here are some pics from our WA trip. I had so much fun. I think the kids did to. WA is the best in the summer the weather is perfect. Can't wait to go back next summer. We are now snow birds. Jason will be able to come next time. Paisley is getting so big turning 1 next week. I remember bringing her home thinking she would never grow. Gunner is bigger than life. He is my wild boy. The kid will try anything. He loves getting dirty and loved quad rides with Grandpa, He still talks about it.

Here is a little video of me pulling a piece of cactus out of my arm. I was riding my quad in the dark, and these will fall off the cactus all over the ground. Well one was in the trail, but I didn't see it and my front tire grabbed it and then flung it into my arm ( it hurt). Another funny story about Cholla cactus. When I was in the academy we were doing all sits, and there was one of these underneath me. Someone pointed it out to me so I thought it would be funny to toss it at someone and have them bat it away and get pricked (sick sense of humor I guess). Well instead of batting it away he, just turned his head and it stuck in his ear! Ha it was so funny it was just hanging there. I thought I was going to get fired, but the Captains couldn't hold a straight face. They said because I was from out of state they would let it slide, but not to throw any more cactus.

We had alot of fun, We just wish the weather was better while we were there. It was cold and rainy. It was like we were in Washington. The drive wasn't bad. The kids did really good. I really didn't take enough pics. Hopefully I can do better next time. We want to go back once Jason's brothers and sister are out of school. Gunner loves playing with the kids are the kids are so good with Paisley and Gunner. I wish we lived closer. Jason dreams of living in Utah someday. I hope it comes true.

I can't believe it is April already. Next month Gunner turns 2. That is so crazy to me. He is learning to talk more and more. It is so fun to watch him learn. He is all boy, but he still likes my pureses and high heels. So funny to hear him clop around on the hardwood floors. Paisley has a big personality. She is always talking and screaming. Her laugh is so cute. She loves playing with Gunner. Be careful though cause if you take something away from her she freaks out.

She loves music and singing. We had to cancel our fun Idaho/Utah trip. Jason is doing Enigeneer cert this summer so he can drive the Fire Trucks. We are kinda bummed but Jason has wanted to do this forever and he will be really good at it.

Paisley has such a personality. She was screaming in her bumbo while I was doing the dishes. Then it got really quit. I turned around and she was in the kettle corn munching it up. So funny. She was all smiles until I took it away then it was meltdown time. She does not like when things are taken away from her that she likes. Her top two teeth are so cute, they are big and have a gap in the middle.

Finally I can post pictures. For some reason it wouldn't let me log on. Anyways we have been busy. We go to the park alot and usually go on one fun outing a week. We've done pump it up, the zoo, gymboree and the mines (just to see the big tractors). Gunner is really learning how to talk, Paisley is changing everyday. She really loves Gunner and all his toys. We will be in trouble when she can crawl.

We left for Washington on Christmas Day. Just the kids and I. THe flight was crazy. If I got a dollar for everytime someone said, "Your brave to do that on your own", or "Wow you've got your hands full". I'd have at least $200. It was nice to spend time with my family. I'm glad that I was there to support my family through this tragic time. Thanks to Jason's hard work we where able to stay for two weeks. I was really ready to come home. Sometimes I think I miss Washington, but after a visit and it snows and rains, I decide it's just not for me. Gunner is totally an Arizona boy. He loves being outside and he doesn't like the snow. People say if you grow up in Arizona you never want to leave. Scary to think Gunner and Paisley could be one of those people.

Almost time for Christmas

Well its almost Christmas. We are all ready for the special day. We wish we were around family and friends. We really wish we where in Washington for a white Christmas. We are so jealous of all the snow. The weather here is a low of 38 and a high of 68 and of coarse always sunny. Paisley is now 4 months I can hardly believe it. She can roll over now but gets really mad when she is stuck on here tummy. She is always making bubbles and making these high pitch squeaking noises. She is to cute for words. Gunner is our little man now. He loves trucks and tractors. All he wants to do is ride in dads truck or watch Kung Fu Panda. He is talking more and more. He really has his animal noises down. He still loves playing outside especially at the park. Jason is doing good he is pretty proud of himself for going to the gym four days a week. He still loves his truck but now he is really into getting his 4 wheeler fixed that he broke. We'll see what happens. Jason has to work Christmas so we are doing our Christmas on Christmas Eve. I can't wait to see Gunners face when he see's his tonka truck.

So we went to the zoo the other day. Gunner loved all the animals. He would make kissing noises trying to call the animals so he could pet them. He's starting to talk more and he loves making animal noises. His favorite things are animals and anything with wheels. Paisley slept the whole time. She really missed out. But I'd rather have her asleep then crying.

Paisley is getting so big. She is so cute. She is starting to smile and talk to us. (baby talk). She even seems to like Gunner even though he is usual sitting or poking her. It is crazy to see her get big. I feel like she was just born yesturday. We went to her two month check up and she was 12.8 oz. She is really getting chunky. We don't remember Gunner being so chunky. Having two little ones is crazy. I've been so busy if its not one its the other. We went to Utah last week. It was so much fun. WE LOVE UTAH! We wish we could live there. We got to see Jason's family. Gunner loved playing with his Uncles. Jason said Mariah was great at taking care of Gunner. No surprise there she is good with kids. She's Here. I guess it's been almost a week. We've been super busy with Paisley and Gunner. She is so cute and we love having her in our family. So far she is such a good baby. Today we made kool aid playdough. Gunner had a lot of fun and made a really big mess, but it was worth ever minute. He has been running around ever and playing with everything. He loves sunglasses, shoes, hats, purses, pretty much anything he can put on. We are counting down the days until our baby girl comes we can't wait.

Gunner loves wear hats, but only if he puts them on. He always wears his John Deere hat while he drives his fire truck around. And he now likes to wear these yellow rain boots. He doesn't like to sit still for pictures anymore. He is to busy for that. We put him in his lego wagon and push him around the house. He also likes to dump out the blocks and play in the hamper.

Gunner can now get up on to the computer chair. He thinks its pretty cool to look on craigslist like Jason does. Gunner is getting so big. He pretty much can get into anything and crawl on top of everything. He has gotten out of his crib twice, luckly he doesn't get hurt. Baby Girl is a due a week early than her original due date. We are exicted to see how her and Gunner will do together. Gunner decided he likes his infant carseat, which is weird cause when he was an infant he really didn't like it.

Jason changed the sprinkler heads to we had to test the new ones out which turned the dirt into mud. And before we could turn around Gunner was in it. He really enjoyed himself. We don't see mud that often down here so we let him take advantage.

Three wheeler rides

Gunner loves to take rides on the three wheeler. Jason on rides almost everyday. The dessert is just behind our house so they don't have to go very far. After about 15 min on the ride Gunner fell asleep. He was out for the night. We had a busy day with swimming and playing outside Gunner's two favorite things to do.

He loved taking rides on my dads 4 wheeler. The funny thing is he isn't over excited when he rides he just hangs out and stays really mellow, but the second you take him off he freaks out. Durning the day he would go find the quad and sit on it then he would move to try to get it to go. He would get pretty upset when it wouldn't go anywhere.

The Zoo

We got to take Gunner to the zoo while we were up in WA. He really loved it. Gunner loves animals. He is always reading his animal books and loves to make animal noises, he is really good at growling. He would stand at the glass cages and yell at the animals it was really fun the watch. He got to feed the goats and the end. He had no fear of sticking his had in the goats mouth. He is a crazy little boy. We went to northwest trek too. The animals were a little harder to see but it was still fun. Gunner fell asleep half way thru the trolley ride. I think Jason enjoyed it the most, he is quit the animal guy.

Gunner's First Birthday

We had a bbq for Gunner's birthday. The bad part is that is ended up being the hottest day of the year in WA. I don't know about anyone else but I thought I was going to sweat to death. After those two sunny days we had 5 days of rain and clouds. I think we had a total of 4 sunny days. Anyways Gunner's First birthday was a success. We had lots of family and friends over to celebrate this special day. Gunner was a little grumpy but once he got his hands on the cake he was as happy as could be.

The Three Wheeler

So Jason found a three wheeler he had to have. So we had to drive all the way to Mesa to get it. So we decided to stop by the temple. When we were at the vistor center we got to see the display of The Reflections of Christ. The pictures are awesome and the spirit was so strong. The Dog

It's time to catch everyone up. First Jason thought it would be a good idea to get another dog. It's was not just any dog it was a very old bull terrier. He was a good dog Gunner really liked playing with him. On the first day we brought him home we took him on a walk and it was downhill from there. Pudge that's his name was so sore he could barely walk. Jason thought this would be the dog he could run and play with but was he mistaken. Finally after 5 days Jason took the dog back.

We went to the County Fair. Gunner really enjoyed the animals. He would laugh everytime the goat would lick his hand. He has no fear of the animals. The camera battery died so we only got a few pictures. Gunner is still learning how to walk. He starts walking then it turns into a run and then a crash. He will be one in 3 weeks we can hardly believe it. It's hard to believe Baby Girl is just around the corner. We can't wait for Gunner to be a big brother.

We went to Madera Canyon for a picnic today. I think Gunner ate more rocks and dirt than food. He loves being outside, either in the dirt or in the water. When we were trying to leave he started throwing a fit. That's his new thing throwing fits. He has been taking steps the past couple of days so I'm sure any day he'll be off and running.

I guess the Tucson sand was to soft for 2 wheel drive..Luckily we wre only about 200 yards from our house. Tiffany was able to walk the groceries home before the ice cream melted. To add to it the stupid starter had been acting up, and decided this would be a good time to stop working all together. So the truck had to spend the night out in the desert. The worst part is that we pulled it out with Tiff's durango. Not the trucks greates moment I'm sure. I've got to get my other rear end fixed so I can run 4x4.

I replaced the starter today, so know more getting stranded. We took it back into the desert again and found some mude to romp around in. Nothing like WA mud though. It sure is a fun truck.

We went off roading in the dessert behind our house. We got stuck but at least we weren't far from home. After we got stuck the truck wouldn't start. It took two days for Jason to figure out how to fix it. But we finally got it started and got it home.

Gunner is getting so big. He learns something new everyday. He can now wave bye, bye. He claps his hands when you say "Yeah Gunner", he puts his hands above his head when you say "Touch Down", and my farvorite he can say mama. He love sto try to climb into the toys. Well it's the new year and we can hardly believe we have been here for two Christmas's. Gunner is getting bigger everyday. He always teases us with trying to crawl he will get on all fours and rock the that turns into the army crawl. Bath time is his favorite he lays on his tummy and tries to swim after his toys and loves to splash and make us all wet. He eats everything he can get his hands on. If you are eating or drinking anything he wants to try it. We just saw 2 more teeth that makes 6. The poor kid never gets a break from getting teeth.

Gunner's personality is really starting to shine. He makes us laugh everyday with his new faces and sounds. He loves to sing. I can hear him in the morning singing away. We went to his 4 month check up last week. He is 16 pounds and 26 inches long. He is pretty tall they say. He has now concord rolling over both ways. So that is his new mode of transportation. If it is on the floor he will get it. For example Jason left the phonebook on the floor and Gunner rolled to it and ripped the pages out. Then I left some junk mail ont he floor and he got to it and got a bit out of the flyer. He is such a wiggle worm. He now sleeps in his crib and he is finally sleeping thru the night.

We just got back from Washington. It was so much fun.We were lucky that the weather was perfect. We are a little sad to be back. We enjoyed visiting with family and friends. The baby shower was so much fun and Jason did a great job on Gunners blessing. We can't wait to visit this Christmas!
